Luke 1:77-79

⁷⁷ to give knowledge of salvation to his people
    ^(A)in the forgiveness of their sins,
⁷⁸ because of the ^(B)tender mercy of our God,
    whereby ^(C)the sunrise shall ^(D)visit us^{[a] (E)}from on high
⁷⁹ to ^(F)give light to ^(G)those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death,
    to guide our feet into ^(H)the way of ^(I)peace.”
